Color Choices, Custom Colors

Preset Colors

There are 7 colors available through the pre-select menu on each LED uplight:

C1 - Red
C2 - Green
C3 - Blue
C4 - Cyan (this is like a light blue/teal)
C5 - Magenta (this color may appear purple or more pink depending on the ambient light in your room)
C6 - Yellow
C7 - White

How to set a color:

  1. Plug in light. Wait 1-2 seconds for it to light up.
  2. Press the Menu button a few times until you see "C".
  3. Press the "up" or "down" keys to change through the color choices.
  4. Press "enter" to set your color.

In addition to the 7 preset colors above, you can also create customize colors by setting a specific RGB value on each uplight. An RGB LED light combines the red, green, and blue colors (RGB) to obtain a wide range of visible colors. It does this by adding the colors together.

Enter specific values of these seven colors to create your own custom color for your lighting design. Also, lighting can look very different from one room to the next, so to get a very specific color, you may need to experiment a little on your own.

Directions for setting a custom color:

  6. As you adjust the color values, you will see the light color change accordingly. When you are happy with your light color, press "enter" once more to set your custom color. Make a note of these values, and enter the same values for other uplights for which you want this same color.

When working with LED uplight colors, you can create a dramatic atmosphere to your event venue in a color scheme that is uniquely yours. Small adjustments to the RGB color values and projection angles can dramatically change the effects. A little experimentation can pay off in a big way!
